Charlotte Galloway calls for new diplomatic approach to Sean’s situation

Charlotte Galloway, former director and current board member of the Myanmar Research Centre at the Australian National University, published a piece yesterday on the University of Melbourne’s Asialink Insights platform.
In her article, Galloway adds her support to the Australia Myanmar Institute’s recent call for a special envoy to Myanmar. In particular, Galloway highlights the success of the special envoy approach in securing the release of Danny Fenster, an American journalist who was also detained in Myanmar as a result of the coup.
